20 sts and 17 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over half treble crochet using a 3.5mm hook or size needed to obtain correct tension

This summer jumper is all about the arms with breezy mesh bell sleeves. The flared design is a nod to the 1970s but with enough features to make it a modern garment, such as the spiky hem and choice of bright colours.

BODY
Using Yarn A, ch170 (190: 210: 230: 250), ss to first ch to join, being careful not to twist.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in second ch from hook and in each st around, pm to denote beg of round. [170 (190: 210: 230: 250) sts]
Round 2 (RS) Htr in each st around. Cont until the work measures approx 30cm.
Do not fasten off. Leave marker in first st.
SLEEVES (MAKE 2)
UPPER SLEEVE
Using Yarn A, ch54 (59: 64: 69: 74), ss to first ch to join, being careful not to twist.
