WORK Redesigning the ground-floor layout which included removing the wall between two reception rooms and reworking the scheme

The owners of this southwest London house approached Alison Johnson and Alex Keith of Otta Design to help with the reworking of the whole ground floor. After moving the staircase to increase the size of the cramped hallway and installing glazed sliding doors to boost the amount of natural light in the kitchen, they turned their attention to the sitting room.
