USE THE CONTRAST TO HIGHLIGHT GRAPHIC ELEMENTS
Choose one primary colour throughout your home and the other as an accent to create or highlight graphic elements. The contrast immediately draws the eye to these accents, so use it sparingly. Our favourite? Black to highlight ceiling beams or stairs and visually heighten the space. You can also use this technique to create a striking gallery or mural.
DON’T BE AFRAID TO GO BOLD
Black and white are muted, so adding a bright colour pop is an easy style upgrade. Introduce a statement-making piece of furniture or an iconic artwork as a focal point or add tropical wallpaper for a dash of nature.
