Mode German Kitchens not only designed the kitchen Sharon and George wanted for their Lisburn home, but also helped them to make the best use of the available space.

‘We had the same kitchen for 27 years; it was time for a change’, explains homeowner Sharon. ‘Our house was a new build at the time and our kitchen was the one we installed when we moved in; it was contemporary in its day, but I knew there was the potential for a better design in the space.’

Having spent time researching the kitchen she would like, Sharon knew that Mode German Kitchens offered exactly what she was after. ‘From looking at magazines and visiting other retailers, I was so impressed with Mode because I felt that designer John Herron really listened to what I wanted.

‘We had planned to knock three rooms into one to create an open-plan, bright airy kitchen/dining/living area and John was able to co-ordinate all of this for us. He recommended the builder and working together we got a layout and design that achieved everything I had hoped for. In the end, the work took two months from start to finish and everyone worked so efficiently. I was so impressed that there were no delays, everything ran smoothly from start to finish.’
