This pretty garden was inspired by Louise's green-fingered sister in Scotland and by some beautiful gardening accounts on Instagram.
Louise doesn't have a massive space to work with, but has transformed the area to the side of her house for entertaining family and friends. Louise's two little grandchildren particularly love the little bistro table and chairs designed to create a small café area for them.
Louise didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on this garden makeover, but she did invest in a lovely pink bench that was found from @cositashomeuk and two smaller sage green ones from Argos. There's also a gate on the side of the garden, which was painted pink with Farrow & Ball exterior paint in Nancy's Blushes for an extra pop of colour.
As Louise explains, 'It didn't take much work to create this space as the garden was already established and had been paved by the previous owner. As well as painting the gate, I also painted the fencing in Ronseal Sage, which really brightened the space up and ordered Ocean Blue pebble stones locally from Quarrystore to make the borders more attractive and tie in with the fence colour.
For finishing touches, Louise used lots of attractive pots filled with seasonal flowers from her local garden centre, Creative Gardens. She also dotted lanterns and fairy lights around the space. There is always a floral chandelier handmade by Louise hanging here and some colourful bunting along the fence for extra prettiness.
