Connected to the surrounding prime areas of the city, and yet located in the well-planned and lush green Nandigram society in Manjalpur, Vadodara, ‘Vraj’ is a home that the incredible talents Ar Bhargav Pancholi and Darshana Vora of Nirmanam Design Studio, have made for a multi-generational Gujrati family. Faced with differences of opinions at times, the house is a magnificent reflection of a blended perfection.
Initially spread over a plot of 2072 sqft, the architects took special care to demolish the preexisting structure in order to build a house of 3500 sqft built-up form for the three generations of this business family. The house was constructed with prime focus on the creation of spaces that meet the specific needs of this family that has deep social roots. The brief by the family included the requirement for indoor-outdoor connectivity that is well integrated into the very design of the home so that the family could enjoy the lush green exteriors. In terms of the design chosen, there was a specific attempt made to deliver a decluttered space that conveyed sophistication with an impeccably clean and mature look.
