Right off the bat let’s just say that for less than 400 bucks this thing is a bargain.
It’s my current go-to lid for road use and apart from a slight issue where I keep shutting the chin vent when I’m trying to open the visor, I can’t fault it. The version we have on test is the Scratched Chrome finish and it’s pretty damn cool as paint finishes go. Just keep reminding yourself the scratches aren’t real and look after the thing properly.
I always take a small size in crash helmets and that often means I end up with a lid which has a big external shell and masses of thick padding inside to take up the space. Consequently I often look like a bit of a bobble-head. Not so the N-87, which is surprisingly small externally, still has plenty of padding and fits my bonce perfectly. What’s more, it only weighs 1400 grams which is getting down to carbon levels of lightness.

Keeping Girls On Motorcycles
On any given weekend at your local motorcycle club, you will see throngs of kids blasting around on dirt bikes having a great time. More often than not, it’s at these local club tracks where kids are introduced to motorbikes. Boys and girls (under 10 years old) get out there and simply enjoy riding their bike without too much competition. Not many of the kids or parents care where they finish in the pack — it’s just about having fun.
