Is the OnePlus 6 just as good as its predecessor? Conchita Fernandes finds out.
The OnePlus 6 made its debut two months ago, and was welcomed with a lot of gusto. It’s one of the few brands that has managed to attain an equilibrium between quality and affordability. Being the company’s latest flagship, the OnePlus 6 features some significant internal and external changes. The most evident change is the exterior of the phone, which now sports a reflective glass exterior (I tested the Mirror Black version). The only downside to having a complete glass exterior is that it is prone to fingerprint smudges. Alongside this, the company also released three other variants with different exteriors—Silk White, Midnight Black and a limited Avengers Edition (with 256GB of space).
The other upgrade is its stunning 6.28-inch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is the largest display offered by the company, so far. This is great especially when viewing photographs and videos, and when making edits. Additionally, the dual lens camera on the rear has been moved to the center of the phone, and follows a vertical format. Below it is the dual LED flash, followed by the fingerprint scanner.
