Cabin Living Is The Same Wherever You Are.
Cabin living was a way of life where I grew up in the Midwest. We rented cabins on lakes in Michigan and Wisconsin. Now, I live back East where our cabin is called a camp, and our lake is called a pond. The cabin terminology is different, but the living is the same.
For example, neither our cabin or our camp has electronics: no phone, video games or TV. Yahtzee anyone? Some people get anxious when they disconnect. Kids get bored, until they discover the pleasure of creative play: playing board games, building forts in the woods or messing around on boats.
