LAUREN and SAMMY VATRANO both work full-time, so it was important for them to find a school where their kids – Sawyer (7) and Brooks (3) – would be happy to go every day – a place that made them feel safe and nurtured. “We also wanted somewhere that would teach compassion and relationship building. Exploring through play and encouraging their interests was also a big one for us. And, of course, the ABCs, 123s – and a little Mandarin, perhaps!”
Their search led Lauren and Sammy to enrol both children at the Early Learning Center at Singapore American School (SAS). Here’s what they have to say about a few of the school’s key aspects.
