No matter what age you are, you cannot under-mine the importance of self care and skin care. All our worldly possessions stay with us only for a fraction of time, be it our swanky car, jewellery or designer clothes. But our skin and body is with us 24x7. Investing time and efforts in it can have long term benefits. So make sure to give your skin and body some love and it will love you right back!

Get your Basics Right

Start out with a morning and night time skincare regime. The mornings can be as simple as using a face wash, and moisturiser, followed by a sunscreen. Your nighttime routine should repeat using a face wash and then, a moisturiser. It is also a good idea to introduce a vitamin C serum in your skincare routine which can be added in the morning before your moisturiser and sunscreen, or even during night time. If you are above thirty, it is a good time to start with a Retinol serum in your regimen. If you have just begun, you can apply it on alternate nights or add it to your moisturiser. Always make sure to apply your sunscreen in the morning when you are using a Retinol.
