Taking to entrepreneurship in his twenties, Ali Abbas, founder and CEO of Singapore Hospitality Group, has taken his business places. He opened his first restaurant called Riverview in 2011 and subsequently opened a chain of them under the Royal Palm brand. Today the group operates seven restaurants across the island. Passionate, driven and determined, Abbas is a firm believer in team spirit, which he believes is the core ingredient in achieving success in a business that is driven by people.

If you are looking for a place that is modern, sophisticated and located in the heart of the city, then Royal Palm @ Clarke Quay is the place to be. Easily accessible via MRT, this elegant 350-seater venue is reminiscent of times gone by – it is tastefully decorated, relaxing, and yet modern at the same time.

Initially located at the Singapore Flyer, the event venue moved to this new location three years later in 2015,

So whether it is weddings or corporate events, this is the place for you. The interiors are decorated with elegantly designed architectural accents and accentuated by modern and exotic refinements. The Royal Palm exhibits features such as computerised LED lighting system, high-quality AV sound distribution system, plasma TVs and a projector, which makes it suitable for hosting any type of event. Facing the Singapore River and a bright, amazing city view of Singapore, the Royal Palm ballroom can accommodate up to 350 people banquet-style.
