MILWAUKEE'S CANNIBAL
New Idea|April 19, 2021
When the extent of Jeffrey Dahmer’s crimes made headlines, a media firestorm erupted and catapulted the super-predator into the global spotlight as being one of the most gruesome serial killers of all time.
MILWAUKEE'S CANNIBAL

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, between 1978 and 1991, Dahmer committed the rape, murder and dismemberment of 17 boys and men, with his later murders involving necrophilia, cannibalism and the permanent preservation of body parts.

Frequenting bus stops, bars, malls and adult bookstores, Dahmer would lure his victims back to his home with the promise of drinks and money in exchange for company or posing nude. Then he would spike their drinks, and strangle and stab them while they were unconscious.

Sickeningly, he’d go on to eat some of their remains, and store other body parts in his fridge and in containers hidden around his home.
