Despite palace officials insisting the royal baby isn’t due for another two-months, a palace insider tells New Idea that doctors are on high alert for an early arrival.
In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so convinced their baby is arriving early, they recently made a hushed-up visit to hospital.
“Meghan and Harry – and the entire palace – are on high alert because doctors have said that this baby could come any day now. There’s been quite a few false alarms where they thought she was in labour and made arrangements to go to the hospital. It’s been a huge roller-coaster ride,” says the source. “At one point they even made an emergency dash to the hospital in the middle of the night thinking Meghan was in labour, only to be checked out and given the all clear.”
Understandably, Harry was concerned about his heavily pregnant wife travelling to Morocco. But, says New Idea’s source, Meghan was “determined” to carry out her last overseas royal duty before the arrival of their first child. While a doctor wasn’t included on the official list of staff accompanying Meghan and Harry, official sources told Hello! magazine that “medical provisions have been made” and our insider confirms they had a team of doctors with them.
