Have you ever wondered how an ordinary person and a mortal like us suddenly become an exalted hero to his/her fans?
I did. Today.
I was asking myself as to how come those people in the Guinness Book of Records fail to get a great following whereas sportsmen with some innate talent (like many in the Guinness Book) combined with hard work to excel in their fields easily command that.
Or for that matter, how many a spiritual and self-help gurus who fail to walk their talk easily acquire a group of fanatic followers.
Or how people with feet of clay just because they are leading actors in popular movies develop an enormous fan base overnight.
The difference is not difficult to see.
It lies in the emotional involvement and investment of the people who take or treat them as heroes.
