Dr Andrea Lim, the CEO of Peak Fitness Malaysia, is also a fitness instructor who adovocates fitness as a life-long journey.
“It should be fun, not a chore! The good news is that there is something for everyone. Keep an open mind and find something that excites you,” says Dr Andrea, who is also mother to two-month-old Isabella Zara Isitt. She also writes health columns, and takes time off for her hobbies; skiing, clay pigeon shooting and hiking.
What inspires your fitness journey?
“I’ve always been active. I did ballet for 13 years, ever since I was four, and moved on to martial arts right after. I started going to the gym to improve my performance in these activities. Honestly, I would feel incredibly uneasy if I stopped being active.”
