Perfect phone for butter fingers
It’s a tall claim for any company when they say their phones are strong and durable enough to withstand nastiest of drops and falls. But Lenovo can rightly claim with their new Moto Z2 Force. It’s a phone that builds on the previous Moto Z Force edition but unlike the first device, the new phone packs in the latest hardware is priced aggressively and even comes with a Moto Mod.
DESIGN
Barring few things, the Moto Z2 Force is more or less similar to its predecessor. While it’s not a bad thing, Moto maintains a similar design to support existing Moto Mods. Lenovo has managed to shave off a millimetre from an already slim phone, which is commendable. The Moto Z2 Force is 6.1mm versus Moto Z Force’s 7mm and is 20g lighter.
The front is taken over by the special ShatterShield display along with a multi-purpose fingerprint sensor beneath it and a front-facing camera and a selfie flash above the display. The back and the sides are carved from 7000 series aluminium that adds to the premium feel. As far as physical keys and ports go, there’s power and volume buttons on the right, USB Type-C at the bottom and SIM slot at the top.
