EtonHouse International Schools

Just FYI, several of EtonHouse’s 14 schools in Singapore are part of the Health Promotion Board’s  Healthy Meals in Child Care Centre Programme.

How important is good nutrition at your school?

“We believe that giving our children a healthy and nutritious diet they love is critical, as it lays the foundation to their future eating habits. That is why our resident chefs work hard to ensure that our menus are interesting, exciting and nutritious to encourage healthy eating from a young age.”

How do you inspire students to eat well?

“Our food menus are developed in consultation with nutritionists and vary on a weekly basis to encourage students to try different types of food. Regular feedback from our students is crucial for us to enhance the menus we offer. That is why we conduct regular interactive surveys across all our schools.” –Ng Yixian, Executive Director (www.etonhouse.com.sg for locations)

The Explore School House This small “gifted” school may not serve food, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t teach about eating smart.

How important is good nutrition at your school?

“We believe good nutrition, together with sleep and physical exercise is critical to children’s well-being.”

How do you teach students about nutrition?
