Held with the joint efforts of zoo curator Vijay Kumar and Trendsetters NGO, the 3-day zoo camp built memories for a lifetime for the kids.
Their first stop was primates and their night crawl. Here they saw Cheepa, Chiku and Cheepika, the three chimpanzees. Cheepika held slices of bread in her left hand along with a bowlful of it in her right hand. She didn’t seem willing to share it with Cheepa and Chiku, the other two fellow chimpanzees. They also saw Raju, the elephant, who could follow up to thirty five instructions from his mahouts and had some really amazing tricks up his sleeve…err trunk!
