The perfect time to reward White
The Buffalo Bills have put themselves in a position to do pretty much whatever they want once free agency arrives. Three years of course-correcting under Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott has Buffalo sitting $80 million under the salary cap. Not bad for a team on the rise.

1st & Ten With Cardale Jones
As Cardale Jones waits quietly for his chance to show his worth at the NFL level, he’s been working diligently behind the scenes to work on his game and improve upon his shortcomings. The Bills selected Jones in the fourth round as a long-term project at the position, treating this year as a redshirt season of sorts. The strong-armed passer has all the tools to succeed at the pro level — he has a cannon for an arm, along with elite physical tools — and showed strides in the preseason after an inconsistent debut with the Bills. Jones spoke to a small group of reporters recently about his progress this year, and here are the highlights from that conversation.
Pats Show How Far Bills Have To Go
All things considered, the Bills had a reasonable enough effort against the New England Patriots in Week 13. Buffalo held Tom Brady in check for much of the game, not allowing a passing touchdown and even recording an interception. LeSean McCoy had one of his better games of the season. New England was held to just nine points at the half. Throughout New England’s two decades of dominance over the Bills, we’ve seen games much, much worse than this one.

Jones' Late Development A Positive
It hasn’t exactly been easy to find a whole lot of positives for the Bills in recent weeks with the team’s many swings in play. One encouraging sign for the future has been the on-field growth of Zay Jones, who has been much improved after a particularly rough start to the season.
1st & Ten With Jordan Mills
It’s been an up-and-down year for the Bills offensive line, but Jordan Mills has been there every step of the way as a reliable and trusted veteran at right tackle.
