The forward couldn’t hit a barn door in London but has found his form in La Liga.
The signing of Simone Zaza in a year-long loan deal gin August 2016 gave us real hope that he just maybe might be the striker we had all been waiting for, for so long.
That hope was short lived and instead we were all left questioning how an Italian international could be so abysmal, failing to score in 11 appearances.
I was one of the fans that had high hopes for Zaza and his current form at Valencia backs up my judgement.
