All the best guitar events you need to put in the diary...
Another year, another incredible array of world talent comes to Bristol. Though Ant Law and Soft Machine are both very good news for jazz guitar fans on the bill, the blues is arguably even better catered for at this year’s multi-venue event: Kirk Fletcher, Josh Smith and Lucky Peterson fly the flag for the US, while home-grown talent is well represented by the trio of Aynsley Lister, Ian Siegal and hometown heroes The Bristol Bluesmen. In addition to their individual performances, Kirk Fletcher and Josh Smith will each host masterclasses during the weekend, with a Q&A and demonstrations of their approaches to the blues to look forward to. www.bristoljazzandbluesfest.com

The guitar firebrand has plenty to show too; a new signature model with Reverend, his Gristle-tone Fishman Fluence pickups and his own Koch amps. www.andertons.co.uk
