A REASSESSMENT of a Bellaghy Road for possible inclusion onto the gritting schedule is to be undertaken by Transport NI, The County Derry Post can reveal today.
The Mullaghboy Road, which travels from Bellaghy Village, linking up with the A42 to Gulladuff and Clady, is used daily by a number of school buses transporting children to local school.
However, currently only part of the Mullaghboy Road is included in the gritting schedule.
Following icy conditions last month, the County Derry Post ran an article after being contacted by a number of concerned residents calling for Transport NI to reassess the Mid Ulster gritting network.
