A DERRY woman who lost her son through suicide has organised a fundraising concert to help the ongoing search for Jack Glenn.
Bebe Johnston’s 22-year-old son Eamonn died in 2007.
Eamonn, who was crowned Mr Gay Derry in 2003, was a hairdresser and support counsellor for Rainbow Project, a support group for the LGBT community.
Bebe said that while she knows the pain of losing a son, the circumstances for the Glenn family are very different.
Jack, 23, entered the River Foyle two weeks ago and his family and friends have been tirelessly patrolling the banks of the river since in a bid to find his body.
Bebe said the family desperately need help and support to keep the search going.
