Air Tanzania to start three weekly direct flights from Mumbai this November.
TANZANIA TOURIST Board has been promoting itself all over the world and it was keen to venture into India. Which is why it recently held its first roadshow in the country. Speaking exclusively to Express TravelWorld in a telephonic interview, Devota Mdachi, managing director, Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) said, “India is one of the top ten markets for us at number 5. Nearly 69,000 tourists came from India in 2017 out of the total 13 lakh arrivals into Tanzania. We are seeing the potential. Over the last five to seven days, we met with leading travel agents in India. The interest in our country is tremendous. There is huge potential. We are excited about this.”
