China, Pak claim voliticisation’ of terror issue,rake up Kashmir
Beijing/Delhi: China and Pakistan on Wednesday expressed their opposition to the \"politicisation\" of the issue of counter-terrorism, days after India indirectly hit out at them for blocking its efforts to blacklist Pakistan-based key conspirators of terror attacks who continue to remain \"protected and unpunished\" there. A joint statement issued after wide-ranging talks between President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Beijing, mentioned the Kashmir issue, saying the two sides \"emphasised the importance of resolving all outstanding disputes through sincere dialogue\".

Chandigarh/Gurgaon: The Haryana government climbed down partially on Wednesday on the bond fee to be paid by students being admitted to government-run medical colleges in the state, with chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar saying the MBBS students need not pay the bond amount of Rs 10 lakh per year. Instead, he said, they will only have to sign a \"bond-cum-loan agreement\" for the amount with the college and bank.

New Delhi: Russia has muscled its way as India's top oil supplier in October, relegating Iraq and Saudi Arabia to second and third spots, respectively, according to market reports based on shipping data.
