William: I Want To Fight For Homeless

The down-to-earth Duke of Cambridge pledged to step up his efforts to highlight rough sleeping and the problems of others suffering in society.

Invoking the memory of his mother Diana, who secretly took him and Harry to see homeless shelters as youngsters, he plans to give his children a grounding in the social conundrum.

It comes after the future king was earlier this month clocked selling The Big Issue incognito on the streets of London.

William and his colleague – 11-year veteran vendor Dave Martin – sold 32 copies in 45 minutes, a total it would normally take Mr Martin, 60, a week to sell.

Customers told the Prince, who wore a red Big Issue vendor’s vest and cap: “You look familiar” and a queue quickly formed.
