Labour leader Keir Starmer also blasted the PM for being away from his desk at the vital time.
Foreign Secretary Raab was on the beach of a five-star resort on the Greek island as Taliban forces stormed into Kabul on Sunday.
Mr Raab admits some regrets over his decision to be on his summer break as the Afghan capital fell – but said he deserved a holiday.
Meanwhile Boris Johnson set off to the West Country on either Friday night or Saturday morning, at least 24 hours after the Government announced it was deploying 600 troops to Kabul.
They were tasked with saving more than 2,000 embassy staff and Afghan locals from the Taliban, who had advanced to within 95 miles of the capital.
The PM’s decision to go on holiday as the international crisis was unfurling, and Mr Raab’s ill-timed trip, was met with an angry response.
It also raises questions about who was in charge of the UK response to the conflict situation.
