UK health chiefs have approved a new Covid-19 vaccine, which could offer longer-lasting protection.
Made by French firm Valneva, it is the sixth jab to gain regulatory approval.
Health Secretary Sajid Javid angered the company, which has a plant in Scotland, last September when he pulled out of an order for 100 million doses, telling Parliament the vaccine would not get approval”.
