Get Glasgow Out Of Lockdown

GLASGOW is at breaking point due to the Covid-19 lockdown, according to Labour leader Anas Sarwar – who is demanding the Government use “every means necessary” to get the city back to normal.

The city is the only part of Scotland which remains in Level Three restrictions and yesterday Sarwar called for every effort to get it into Level Two.

He demanded a massive increase in PCR testing and vaccination in hotspot areas and said the Scottish Government should enlist the Army to help.

He also said door-to-door testing must be carried out in neighbourhoods with a seven-day average rate of more than 100 cases per 100,000 people.
