Actor Kevin Guthrie is to appeal against his conviction for sexually assaulting a vulnerable woman.
The Sunshine On Leith star was jailed for three years last week after being found guilty of molesting a 29-year-old actress.
The 33-year-old has now launched a bid for freedom after instructing his legal team to challenge his conviction and sentence.
