Sun-loving Scott Jamieson turned Abu Dhabi into an unlikely home from home to set the early pace at Yas Links.
The Scot found the new setting for the Abu Dhabi Championship - designed by Kingsbarns architect Kyle Phillips - to be right up his street as he carded nine birdies in a bogey-free 63 to establish a new course record.
Florida-based Jamieson said: “It's like playing in Scotland but it's warm.That's maybe the best of both worlds for me.
