THE King rubbed shoulders, and noses, with the great and good on Commonwealth Day as he called on nations to unite for the planet.

Charles III also used his first address at the annual Westminster Abbey service to pay tribute to his late mother.

And he declared the Commonwealth can play a vital role in addressing some of the most pressing issues of our time.

However, it was the blustery weather that was most pressing for Queen Consort Camilla and Kate, the Princess of Wales, as they both desperately clung on to their hats as they arrived.
