HE might be the veteran of the game but Sir Michael Stoute showed why he is the most successful trainer at Royal Ascot when Dream Of Dreams gave him his 82nd winner at the meeting in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.

Stoute, 75, has endured a tough 12 months after losing his partner Coral PritchardGordon last August.

But the master trainer clearly remains very much at the top of his game.

“Any winner here is a great thrill, particularly a Group One,” he said.
