Continuing its tradition of celebrating the spirit of dialogue during the holy month of Ramadan, Sharjah Ramadan Majlis launched its fourth session on Wednesday ( 28 April), under the title “ Culture and building youth’s awareness”, aimed at turning spotlight on the role of culture in promoting youth’s awareness.
Hosted by Sharjah Press Club of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, the fourth session of the immensely ongoing popular event was headlined by Sheikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities; Rashid Mohammed Al Kous, Executive Director of Emirates Publishers Association. The session was moderated by Sheikha Al Mutairi.
The session was attended by Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council; Tariq Saeed Allay, Director of Sharjah Government Media Bureau, along with a number of senior officials and invitees.
The session’s participants praised the great keenness of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah in supporting the cultural institutions sponsoring writers and publishers, which have played a key role in promoting the UAE’s cultural position to the highest level.
