GOOGLE yesterday announced plans to cut 240 staff from its workforce in Ireland.
Distraught workers last night told the Irish Mirror they are still in the dark over who will lose their jobs.
A source said: “Staff got emails, but we think it will be next month before we know.
“It’s been so long drawn out. It’s not fair. We can’t plan as staff haven’t been informed if they are safe or not. It’s like a drip feed of information.”
Thousands of Google workers were put on alert last month due to the tech giant’s decision to axe 12,000 positions worldwide.
