Sunny spells and settled weather are in store in the run-up to Easter – but temperatures will take a nosedive on Sunday.
Today will be cloudy to start with sunny spells developing through the day, with the best of the sunshine in Munster which will have the highest temperatures of 18C.
Good Friday looks like more widespread sunshine with the mercury rising to 15C.
Saturday too is set to be largely dry with sunny spells becoming more overcast in the afternoon.
Meteorologist Emer Flood told the Irish Mirror: “Tomorrow will be a dry sunny day for most areas, with highs of 10C to 15C.
“Because of an easterly breeze it will be coolest along the north and east so temperatures there between 9C and 10C but reaching up to 15C in the southwest.
