Sister’s plea after man’s dismembered remains find

A WOMAN whose brother’s dismembered body was found on the grounds of a derelict house called for the building to be demolished.

Gardai investigating the murder of Frankie Dunne, whose remains were recovered near Castlegreina House on Boreenmanna Road in Cork last December, arrested a man on Monday in connection with the investigation.

He was later released without charge.

The victim’s sister Monica Butler, whose only son John was shot dead by a masked gunman in 2002, said the violent death of her 64-year-old brother was another tragedy for the family.
