Law School Dropout, Not Davinder, Is Hizb Terror Plots Kingpin

Irfan Shafi Mir from Shopian emerges as key man in the case, reveals NIA’s probe

The security grid in Jammu and Kashmir was shaken up with arrest of DSP Davinder Singh, who was caught while transporting two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists — Naveed Babu and Rafi Ahmed — and a lawyer Irfan Shafi Mir in a vehicle to Jammu on January 11.

But as National Investigation Agency (NIA) delves deeper into the conspiracy, they have found that Davin der was only a ‘Mercenary’, instead, Irfan Ahmed Mir, a law school dropout, is emerging as ‘key’ man post interrogation.

With boyish looks, Irfan and steel grey eyes, is the one who traveled to Pakistan at least 5 times. The passport showed he had traveled via legal route during which visited Hizb office and met top brass.
