Not in Pakistan's interest to allow terror attacks from its territory, says PM
Making another pitch for talks, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan called for India to make a fresh start during his term to revive the dialogue process between the two countries.
The talks have been stalled on the issue of terrorism for more than a decade.
"It is not in Pakistan's interest that our soil be used for terrorism against others;' Mr. Khan said here on Thursday. He was speaking to a group of Indian journalists invited to cover the Kartarpur corridor ground breaking ceremony held on Wednesday.
`Let's not live in the past'
"I can't be held responsible for the past. Hold me to account if I break my promises: he said, asked about the pending investigations into the 1993 and 2008 Mumbai attacks and the case against Dawood Ibrahim and LashkareTaiba chief Hafiz Saeed.
