A Young mum-of-two who this week settled her High Court action over her cervical smear slides has revealed how she has planned her own funeral.

Lynsey Bennett also said she remains hopeful she will survive her terminal cancer diagnosis as she prepares to fly to Mexico for treatment on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old gave an emotional interview on Friday’s Late Late Show, explaining why she’s chosen Van Morrison’s Days Like This to be played at her funeral.

Lynsey, from Co Longford, said she wants the hopeful message it conveys to be passed on to her two daughters Zoe, 12, and seven-year-old Hailee. She said: “I’ve instilled in the girls that there will be days like this. And if mummy’s not there to remind you, you put on that song.
