New Delhi: Excited over finally experiencing the Delhi University life, students of first and second year undergraduate courses who haven’t been able to attend classes in person are now impatient to explore the campus and meet new people. With DU set to reopen on February 17, most students are packing their cases and anxiously finding hostels and paying guest accommodation near the campus.
Anshika Singh, a student of Miranda House, said, “Despite being in the fourth semester, the news of colleges reopening is making me feel like a fresher. The adrenaline rush of meeting friends, experiencing the DU life that we have only been able to imagine till now, truly seems like a good change after such a long closure. Visiting nearby cafes, interacting with college society members and meeting people from other colleges are things that I look forward to.”
Singh added, “Travelling, packing and arranging for accommodation have created panic among students, but hopefully the university administration will assist us in the change and our expectations will turn out to be worthwhile.”
