1 Your presence is important at doctors visits, scans, tests, shopping, prenatal classes, etc. So, make it a point to be present.
2 Read up—if you know pregnancy-related facts and information, that will surely impress her.
3 Always know which week of pregnancy she is in. You never know when you will get the pop quiz!
4 The first trimester is a sleepy trimester. Energy levels will be low and she may want to sleep a lot. Don’t plan any energetic outings as you will definitely be disappointed.
5 Nausea or sensitivity to odors is heightened especially in the first 12-16 weeks, so avoid foods and other such strong odors which she is not able to withstand.
6 The breasts are very sensitive. Don’t be surprised if she does not enjoy them being touched anymore.
7 Most women will experience some kind of leaking of breast milk in the second half of pregnancy. Don’t make a big deal out of it, and accept it as normal.
