Wisdom puts the heart and mind in their respective places… and brings inner freedom.
Bhagavad Gita - The Song of the Divine

Elaborating on Sankhya Yoga, Lord Krishna spoke to Arjuna on the nature of dualities of life and the conflicts that arise from them.

When there is a conflict between the heart and mind, there is no freedom. Wisdom puts the heart and mind in their respective places and brings inner freedom. That’s the job of a wise person, of a Guru; to bring clarity. Lord Krishna played the role of a Guru here. Arjuna said, “I am your disciple; you are the only one who can guide me now.”

In life, we move through various phases childhood, youth, adulthood and old age. Likewise, after death, we move into another body and are born again. We all have our roles to play in this world. Life is like a game.

So, play your role well. Don’t get caught up in emotional turbulences. This gives you a vision of the Self.
