Celtic will play their second home game of the season this weekend when they take on Aberdeen. The nine-in-a-row champions return to Paradise two weeks on from their 5-1 dismantling of Hamilton Accies on Flag Day.
The game will the 294th league meeting between the two sides. Celtic have claimed 163 victories to Aberdeen’s 69, the remaining 62 have ended in a draw.
Derek McInnes’ side are only one of two teams to inflict a defeat on Celtic at Paradise in the league in the last four years. That came in the final game of the 2017/18 season when they recorded a 1-0 victory, and it was their first league win at Celtic Park in 14 years.
Ahead of Saturday’s game, we take a look at some previous meetings at Paradise, including the first ever meeting between the two at Celtic Park.
