The Indian Premier League 2019 edition has entered its final phase with the battle for playoffs qualification going on. Three teams have already qualified for the IPL 12 playoffs. Like every season, foreign recruits often play a major role in the tournament. Be it bowlers, batsmen, and all-rounders, foreigners are crucial in a team’s approach to the season. IPL 2019 was no different and we had several foreigners making their mark. Meanwhile, England and Australia players have left for international duty and they won’t be available for the upcoming games. But in this mix, certain players have had their say before departing. On the other hand, a lot was expected from some of the star names. But they failed to live up to expectations this season. That, in turn, had an adverse effect on teams as well. Here we look at the hits and misses this season as far the IPL 12 season is concerned.
