With West Brom one of the surprise packages in the Premier League we spoke to Birmingham Mail reporter Paul Suart to find out what has put the bounce back into the Baggies

West Brom are in great form at the moment, aren’t they.

Absolutely. The cornerstone of that success has been the form at home and it has created a very rosy picture. West Brom are capable of scoring goals right across the team. They are known for their set-piece prowess but there are goals coming from open play as well. West Brom also have an astonishing record against teams below them in the table – they have lost only once, to Bournemouth.

How about their form away from home?

They have struggled a little more on the road but have still picked up some good results. West Brom picked up a good win away at Southampton on New Year’s Eve. Any struggles they have had come away against the big sides.
