PULL: This year, you’ve been concentrating more on Jr. Women - right? How has that been going for you?
P-Nut: This year has been amazing so far in the Junior Women class! Every moto in this class could very well be a Grands main, so it’s definitely a challenge. Racing this class has given me more opportunities to progress since the competition is so tough, and I love every moment racing against girls I get along with so well!
PULL: Working closer with Arielle Martin; what is the biggest difference in your training - compared to this year and in your past?
P-Nut: Last winter my dad dedicated half of the garage to build my own gym, so having access to a full gym at my house has helped a lot. But besides that, nothing is different than the past years. I just love to ride my bike and keep raising the bar.
PULL: You’ve scored plenty of Jr. Women wins this year; which one has been the most memorable?
P-Nut: The most memorable junior women win that I’ve had this year is Louisville, Kentucky. I didn’t lose a lap all weekend and felt the best I have! Also, it was a supercross race, and I love racing on the big hill.
PULL: It seems that between you, Daleny Vaughn and the Hayes sisters, that the U.S. has some solid talent for when Alise and Brooke decide to call it a career. Do you envision yourself stepping into their shoes when that day comes?
P-Nut: I would absolutely love to step into their shoes one day, but right now I’m really enjoying getting to step beside them and continuing to learn from them. Being able to compete against elites like Alise and Brooke is an incredible opportunity, and I hope I can continue to transform into a great role model like them.

GOLD CUP NORTH CENTRAL
If there is one good thing about this year’s Covid closures of states and counties, it is that tracks that might not normally have gotten a shot at hosting a National or Gold Cup event, were now given that opportunity.

This year the DK Bicycles Gold Cup South East Finals were held at one of the fastest BMX tracks in Alabama - Circle City BMX, in Dothan. If trying to claim one of the coveted Gold Cup Plates brought you to Circle City BMX for your first time you might have been surprised when you first saw the track layout.
GOLD CUP SOUTHWEST
When you roll into the local Quiktrip and one of Tucson’s finest looks at your shirt and asks if you know Corben Sharrah, you can only be in one city in America. Often coined as the loudest city in BMX, it doesn’t matter if there is a single fan or a gaggle of Tucsonans, they know how to bring the energy.
GOLD CUP NORTHEAST
With all of the uncertainty in event planning this year, it was not a huge surprise that the DK Bicycles North East Gold Cup Finals shifted locations somewhat last minute. We were very lucky to have it and at a great location, Akron BMX in Akron, Ohio. The Big Red Truck was last here for the 2018 North East Gold Cup Finals, and the track is located in a pretty incredible location.
