We didn’t have to go to the mall or get steamrolled in a throng of humanity on Black Friday. From the comfort of a desk with a bottle of Crown Royal nearby, we put together a few things to help the guys celebrate as they prepare for the upcoming New Year. And if they don’t like them, heck, they don’t even need a receipt to take them back.
Mark Davis — A welcome mat to put outside his new digs in Las Vegas. The Raiders owner continually saw his popularity decline in Oakland once the decision to move was made, and his circle of friends has always been a tiny one. It’s time for MD to open up and find some new people to hang out with, and not just the staff at PF Changs and Hooters.
Jon Gruden — What could you possibly get a guy who has a deal for $100 million? A Chuckie doll is too cliché and about 20 years out of date. Anything else Gruden wants he can get with his own cash. So we’ll go with a vintage all-white Al Davis sweatsuit. Let’s face it, some of decisions and moves Gruden made this year had Davis written all over them. If he’s going to act the part, he might as well look it too.

NEWS & NOTES
The Raiders had one of the easier schedules in 2020 and got only eight wins to show for it. Things won’t get any easier in 2021, either.
Looking back at 2020 season
The 2020 season will absolutely be remembered for being one of the strangest and most disappointing in franchise history.
Gruden feeling the heat?
“I know there is a big bull’s-eye on my chest, certainly. If the people want to use that as an incentive, then so be it. I worked for Al Davis in 1998. That was pressure. I was 34 years old. I’ve dealt with pressure before. I don’t really feel pressure. I love the excitement and thrill of competing, and I can’t worry about things I can’t control in that regard. I know people will want to step on me and beat me, and that is just the way this league is.”
