Good afternoon and ‘welcome back’.
Last weekend’s 4-0 result against Burnley was an important one for us. We needed to get back to winning ways in the league, we needed the three points to strengthen our position in the table and to win in the way we did makes it feel even better.
It was a good, solid performance against a team that always demands the best from you.
Scoring in the first action of the game gave us the confidence we needed for the players to express themselves. When we went two goals ahead within 10 minutes, it meant Burnley had to start coming at us, which opened up more space because they were not as compact as when the game started so many things went in our favour, which has not been the case in other games recently.
